When OkiZoo isn’t in the studio recording or killing some party till the break of dawn, we dabble around in some fun video editing. Our very own Daft Dodgers (if you don’t know who that is, it’s up to YOU to figure it out) decided to mess around with the Japanese anime series Cowboy Bebop, which is regularly seen on The Cartoon Network, and edit it to the sounds of  the New Young Pony Club’s “The Bomb“. Props to the homie Daft D. and The Ashitron Prototype for the super slick edits!!!

18 April 2008 OkiZoo will teamed up with WAR Records & Electro Booking to present “Rave On” with support from Smirnoff. The Party will be Hosted by Mc Trix One (OkiZoo) dropping rhymes all night long for all the Dj’s and Party People. Also the Party will feature Live graffiti art show by Alex and a Photo Exhibition by Chardchakaj Waigawee from the Loser Company (Filmer & Director of Trix One music video Walk On Flames). The DJ’s are MSD (Electro & Break Mash Up & Owner of War Records), Murk One (Garage), IK (Dub Step & Drum n Bass), Top (Hip-Hop) And Tay (Electro).

“Rave On” is at Club Escudo, Thonglor Sukhhumkit Soi 55 take the elevator to the 4th floor of the Dutchess Plaza (Ask any taxi to take you to ThongLor Soi 15 near Villa Market). Half-pub, half-club, Escudo is two floors of sick interiors and pumping sounds. Slap-bang in the city’s happening hub of Thonglor, fresh-faced local hipsters come here to sip whiskey, dance and hang out. The first floor DJ’s spin mostly mainstream hip-hop, while upstairs is more house-music driven. Very, very busy on weekends. Escudo Club, the oh-so-hi-so club on Thonglor is now back after eight months of renovation and a big 10 million baht envelope to cover its new interactive technology.The tables were more interesting: colorful lasers play off the glasses, connecting them and surrounding them with beams of light.
