Okizoo was born from a sub culture, kids exspressing there talents in many ways… From skating to B-Boying, Graff, M.C.ing, Djing… Beatmaking… etc… Its like when you go to the ZOO,you know you want to see ALL THE ANIMALS…You got monkeys, lions, giraffe, etc…. Like the many animals in ZOO ,the wide range of personalities from all over the globe is what puts the ZOO in Okizoo. OKINAWA, JAPAN is where the crew was originaly formed… Livin there allowed us embraced the Island Japanese culture and mindstate… Into the pot, they mixed OKI tripinin with DJing, and Beatmaking… Easily shifting between the genres of jungle,drum n bass, hip hop, house, jazz and rock… Whatever it takes to make the people move. Okizoo has no walls, We have evolved into a society of no limitaions. This lifestyle come from livin with enthnicity and other races. OkiZoo is a group that intermingles between many styles of music with ease. Okizoo has just put the finishing touches on their debut hip hop disc “Koncrete Jungle”.
