With David Beckham arriving in America to transform America into a soccer nation I thought I would welcome him and Victoria “Posh” Beckham by doing a post related to soccer. Hopefully he can get used to the change from football to soccer. Although football makes more sense it has an already deep rooted meaning in America. Besides we like to be unique.

This Chinese ad was able to capture the essence and beauty of the sport that Americans will come to love and learn about. It shows the struggles and pains associated with the international sport that the viewer just craves for. All this while subliminally selling women’s sports wear undergarments, which is otherwise a difficult sale. I think the artist was able to execute his marketing plan effectively and attract the viewer. Hopefully you were able to capture the artist’s vision too.
